Oh Lucerne, you enchanting little town in Central Switzerland: Set between the beautiful Vierwaldstättersee and iconic Mount Pilatus – could I ask for a more picturesque setting? I’d be foolish if I did because I hardly think that’s possible.
Switzerland: Our “little” neighbour to the West is a country similar to ours yet different in many ways. I’m not going into detail about its history and politics although both are undoubtedly interesting and unique in the world.
The second half of September has begun and if we like it or not, it’s time to say farewell to this year’s summer. I found myself in a good balance between travel and work and also I didn’t miss out quality time in my beautiful home city.

Imagine you sit at a restaurant by the beach with a cool beer or cocktail in your hand and you’re looking for a bite which goes well with the drink and view. This mostly happens when I’m in Thailand and my first choice usually is Yum Woon Sen – a glass noodle salad either served with seafood or meat in a refreshing seasoning.
Who doesn’t enjoy a good glass of red wine now and then? And even better, who isn’t dreaming of sunny days in the middle of vineyards enjoying some good food and good company? You might think of Bordeaux or Tuscany first but Austria has some amazing wine (and vineyards) too!
