How much was I looking forward to that moment when I touched the grounds of Bangkok! Although the city is so big, entertaining and exciting, I took it rather slow this time. There was no sightseeing rush and my bf and I hung out mainly in the areas of Ari and Siam, so you won’t find a single temple photo here (I ‘m kinda templed out) 😛 However if you keep your eyes open, there’s always something to discover!
For example the never-ending traffic!
Currently in Central World: The journey of 999 elephants!
X-mas cosplayers at Central World.
The city was surprisingly quiet on NYE. The police blocked a few main roads but other than that, it was business as usual.
Soi Thaniya, Silom – the (mainly Japanese targeted) bar and red light street.

Bangkok is booming with fancy high-rise condominiums. But I guess the living conditions of the majority is as simple as that.
Although the neighbourhood of Ari still has a lot of Thai charm, it’s becoming more and more hipster…
I hope you enjoyed that rather random tour of Bangkok 🙂
