A year of (no) travel in the Empire State

February 15, 2021

It’s been a year since the world as we know it has completely changed.
And since we couldn’t travel the way we used to, we found joy and hope in the simple things that surround us:

Sunlight that shines through the canopy. A cold stream to dip your feet in on a hot summer day. The feeling of being on top of the world after climbing a tough mountain. Fall foliage that turns forests into a sea of red and gold. Whenever we needed a change of scenery after months of uncertainty and cabin fever, Upstate New York was there for us and still will be.

Woodstock/Catskills

Giant Mountain/Adirondacks

Minnewaska State Park

I know the world has changed so much so I guess you and I are travelling in our home countries for the time being (which is def not such a bad thing). Absolutely beautiful scenery in your photos Julia…nice to see you posting again.

Thank you for the escape, Julia. It does feel like a year in the joint…
